This simple yet fragrant blend of tarragon, chives, garlic, and lemon zest was perfected in a kitchen overlooking the Carp River in Ottawa for a memorable family meal. Sprinkle on fish before grilling, and use in marinades for shrimps and scallops.

We used these spices as a marinade by combining with olive oil, and letting the fish filets sit for about 30 minutes before pan frying. It gave a nice subtle flavour to the fish that was perfect with a bit of fresh lemon squeezed over top at the end. Thanks for encouraging us to have some lighter dinners!
